Patricia W. Savage
President/CEO
Patricia W. Savage, Ph.D leads ALSM in making daily decisions to keep team members striving to meet goals as directed by the Board of Trustees. Pat earned a BA in Psychology from Alvernia University in Reading, PA; Masters in Social Work from Marywood University School of Social Work in Scranton, PA; Masters in Human Resources Administration from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA and a Ph.D in Organizational Leadership from Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, OH. Pat previously worked as a social worker, Director of Senior Companion Program for Telespond Senior Services in Scranton, PA, and many other roles before becoming the Vice President of Program Operations at Lutheran Welfare Service of Northeastern PA, Inc. in Hazleton, PA. She left that position to join ALSM in January 1996 as President/CEO. Pat’s affiliations include membership in the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW), Leadership Lackawanna Alumnae Association, PA Lutheran Network (PLN) Planning Council, National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA), Board of Directors of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, Advisory Board of Penn State-Altoona and Advancement Committee of Evangelical Lutheran Coalition for Mission is Appalachia (ELCMA). Pat’s leadership roles in professional organizations have including chairing the Boards of Directors of Lutheran Services in America (LSA) and KAIROS Health Systems, Policy Council of Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in PA (LAMPa) and Leadership Council of Lutheran Services in America-PA. She is the immediate past chairperson of the Steering Committee of Central PA Lutheran Planning Giving and immediate past President of the Rotary Club of Altoona. She currently serves as Vice President of Laurel Highlands Chapter of the American Wine Society.

Christopher Reighard
Vice-President for Finance and Planning
Chris Reighard serves ALSM as the person who oversees finance, future projects and children’s services. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and BS in Health Care Policy and Administration with a minor in accounting. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Chris previously served 10 years as the Assistant Controller for Home Nursing Agency and for 2 years as the Controller at Altoona Hospital. Chris is an active member of PANPHA (an association of nonprofit senior services) and also supports the community as a member of the Rotary Club of Hollidaysburg. His service to the community extends to his roles as the treasurer of the Altoona Area Baseball Association and member of the Logan Township Planning Commission and St. Leonard Home Board.

Director of Human Resources
Becky Young oversees the human resource functions of ALSM. She holds a BS in Hospital Administration from Penn State University and a Masters in Human Resources Management from St. Francis University. She has previously served in human resource leadership roles for Presbyterian Homes in the Presbytery of Huntingdon (now Presbyterian Senior Living), Albert Einstein Health Care Network in Philadelphia and HealthSouth in Mechanicsburg. She also has taught a graduate program for Human Resources Management as an adjunct professor at St. Francis University. Professionally, Becky belongs to Society for Human Resources, Human Resources Management Association of Blair County and the Council for Human Resource Management of Lutheran Services in America. She is active in the community as a volunteer for Penn Mont Academy and the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art.
