ALSM at Home
ALSM at Home provides in-home care services to those who need help with daily living. Our trained caregivers provide the assistance that allows loved ones to remain independent in their own homes. Services are available in Blair and Somerset counties and select areas of Cambria County. ALSM at Home is funded in part by the respective County Agencies on Aging in each location as part of their plan to serve older persons.
ALSM at Home establishes an individualized care plan.
Meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry
Personal care, including bathing, grooming and dressing
Escort for doctors’ appointments
Grocery shopping, prescription pick-up and general errands
Home management assistance
- Sorting and organizing mail
- Assisting in paying bills
- Tending to correspondence
Medication reminders
Companionship, including overnight and weekend stays
Assistance in locating additional resources to help manage care needs
Respite care for other caregivers

Our staff team members have been screened to meet ALSM’s high standards of employment, are certified in basic first aid and CPR and have been trained by registered nurses to provide personal care.
Companion Plus Option...

ALSM at Home’s Companion Plus program provides home supportive services such as light housekeeping, errand services, companionship or other home management tasks.
