“My daughter has enjoyed her Head Start experience from the beginning and looks forward to the group sessions every other week. I feel that she has done well with transitioning into the classroom. She enjoys being in the classroom with other children, and she considers each her friend. During home visits we sometimes get to make tasty treats, and we love that, whether we are baking (following directions) or doing some other activity. She is always having fun and learning new things. I have noticed that she is getting really good with her letters and number recognition. I have had a brief chance to volunteer in the classroom (due to work) and look forward to helping out some more in the future.” – Rachele

“My son looks forward to his teacher coming, and I enjoy the company also. I have been in the program for many years so I must be pretty impressed. The teachers are always so nice and as a stay-at-home mother, the parent meetings are basically my only social life. I feel that all my children have benefited from the program, not just educational wise, but with their social skills as well. My son enjoys the classroom environment with all the people that are the same size as him! Also the toys, furniture and activities are all just for someone his size. Sometimes he is so excited and shows off when the teacher is here, so I don’t think half the time she gets to see all that he can do.
