Johnstown Kid Stop
Our school-age program, Kid Stop, offers before-and-after school and full-time summer care for children in kindergarten through age 12.
Kid Stop offers quality faith-based care in a safe environment with a focus on the whole child.
Recreational and social opportunities to encourage fun and interaction
Diverse activities that meet the needs of the school-age child such as creative arts, cooking projects and science projects
Homework time and assistance
Currently has a STAR 2 rating through Keystone STARS program from continual quality improvement
Local excursions and field trips
Enrichment days that allow the children to learn more about themselves and their community through visits and activities
Nutritious snacks are provided
Sports, games and outdoor activities
Financial assistance available to those who meet income guidelines through Child Care Information Services
Staff have educational training and experience with children and are certified in pediatric first aid and have state mandated clearances.
When parents entrust their children to our care, we know they count on us to protect and nurture God’s most precious gifts. We always strive to provide the best possible environment and the most positive experiences for all of the children in our programs. Our goal is to promote the intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical development of each child. We encourage parents’ visits and participation in helping us reach that goal.
