Services
Services at the Senior Daily Living Center include an extensive activity schedule to get all participants involved and keep their minds busy and active.
A typical day would include:
6:30-9:30am – Arrival and morning snacks
9:30-10am – Morning stretch
10-11:30am –News & Views and scheduled activities (card games, exercise, trivia, etc.)
11:30am – Personal care for those who need it
12pm – Lunch
12:30-1pm – Rest
1-2:30pm – Stretches and scheduled activities
2:30pm – Snacks and personal care for those who need it
3-6pm – Independent activities/departure
Our Senior Daily Living Center has partnerships to provide services at/through the center:
Licensed beautician visits on Wednesdays
Participants needing occupational, physical and speech therapy are transported to the local Phoenix Rehabilitation and returned to the center
Nursing services are offered at the center by an LPN:
Bowel/bladder training and incontinence care
Gait training
Medication administration
Diabetes checks
Nourishment and dietary supplements
Bathing and skin care
Range of motion and use of adaptive equipment
Total assessments, include monitoring of vital signs
Transportation is available through Somerset County Transportation System at a nominal fee.
