Video testimonial from Vicki Knotts, daughter of a Senior Daily Living Center participant
“My brother goes to Senior Daily Living because our mother passed away, and I am now his full-time caregiver. I work a full-time job, and he needs a place to stay while I am at work. If it were not for this program, I would have to quit my job to care for him at home. Everyone at the SDLC is so kind, caring and compassionate that I never worry about him while I am at work because I know he is very well cared for and he is safe. It is a learning experience since he does all sorts of activities so that he does not get bored. This has also helped him to become a bit more independent and this carries over when he comes home.” – Sandy
“My mother has been attending the center since 1993 when she wandered away from home one day. She enjoys the attention she receives from the staff, and we appreciate all the care and concern. The center is a great resource for anyone caring for an elderly person. It allows caregivers to have time for themselves to do errands or just take a break from caregiving, all the while knowing that their loved one is getting the care and supervision he or she needs.” – Teri
