No, you don't have to leave the facility to receive most of these tests, except in the event of an emergency. We have a contracted laboratory service that visits our facility for physicians' orders on laboratory tests. We also contract with an x-ray company which visits the facility for non-emergency physician ordered x-rays. Both of these services are considered ancillary services and are not part of the regular rate.
